Children need protection from serious diseases.  Immunizations (vaccination) is a way of creating immunity to certain diseases.  The risks of vaccinations are extremely small compared with the health risks and diseases that can occur if not immunized. Bring your child’s current vaccination record with you. Children must have a parent accompany them, or bring signed screening/consent form (signed by a parent or guardian). Medicaid / Medicare is accepted. For more information about child or adult immunizations, contact the Mercer County - Celina City Health Department at (419) 586-3251 X 1270 or [email protected]. We are contracted with many insurance carriers and will bill as a courtesy. Please have your insurance cards available – login to your insurance company’s website to determine your individual coverage. Federal or State provided vaccines will not be denied to children 18 and under due to inability to pay.

If you travel outside of the United States you may need additional vaccines. Consult your physician or Health Department about recommended and/or required vaccines.
