MERCER COUNTY- CELINA CITY BOARD OF HEALTHThe members of the Mercer County-Celina City Board of Health are appointed by the Mercer Co-Celina City Health District Advisory Council at the annual meeting held in March. All Board members must be a Mercer County resident and their term of office is 5 years.  At least 1 Board member is required to be a licensed physician.

The Health Commissioner is appointed by the Board of Health for a term of 2 years, must be a county resident, and must be a licensed physician, licensed dentist, licensed veterinarian or holder of a Master’s Degree in Public Health.

The Health Commissioner is the Executive Officer of the Board of Health.
